mischer’traxler studio is a Vienna based design studio consisting of Katharina Mischer and Thomas Traxler whose works include not only design objects and furniture, but also interactive installations. Always on the lookout for alternative production processes, they are often made transparent in the object itself. The coats, that were especially designed for the duo, are made of dark blue italian cotton denim and are rubberized on the front pockets and the sleeves. The rubberized elements are protective when they work with jigsaws, grinding machines and drills. mischer’traxler also plan to wear the coats at presentations and on work-related trips.
